I am trying to work out a deal with another member. I'm won't mention his name but he can speak up in here if he wants. He is interested in purchasing the stock 16" alloys and Michelin tires from me. The wheels/tires have less that 500 miles on them. Neither one of us has an idea of what the price should be. I'm not interested in making a killing off of a member of this forum. He agreed that this would be a good way to come up with a fair price. So, what do you guys think? Here is a pic of the wheel/tire combo.
You decide what you want for them, Either way you will be giving the other member one hell of a deal.

Well obviously Toyota would charge a lot for them if you want to buy them via the parts department, and for $373 there are much better rims to get, lol. Also if you customize a car on Toyota.com, they are charging $795 for the 16" rims.
I'm fine with you guys knowing that I am the one wanting the rims. As I've said to him in various PM's, I dont want to spend too much money on these as I already have rims (these would mainly be for winter), but again I don't want him to feel forced to sell for too low.
I have been looking at rims to replace my steel wheels for 16 months.
( I wanted to get the most of my stock tires) I have seen sets similar to the new ones on fdexclpl's car for around $400 just for the rims alone. Most of them sell for a little more. You can buy Camry SE wheels most any time for
under $400 also. (I purchased SE rims with lugs for $389 + shipping) Do your homework on ebay, craigslist, local tire shops....etc...and settle for a good price. Considering those tires are at least $130 each, I would pay $750-$800, maybe a little more, for this set depending on shipping cost.
i say 700 to 800. my 2 cents is 850 to 900 shipped . thats a very fair price for both parties. you cant start comparing prices found on ebay, god knows what your looking at there. 9 times out of 10 they are replicas. and i dont think that 400 a piece for wheels is figured into the price of the car. could be wrong about that... but i feel that is fair. btw its very refreshing to see good business between the two parties like this. if i could i would buy everything for my car from this community. its simply more trust here. and to me thats also worth something.

Honestly those Michelin Energy MXV4 all-seasons are excellent. They are very quiet, and they wear out very slowly (in other words, they'll last a long time). They have a wear rating of 440 and temperature tolerance of AA.
My Camry SE V6 came with these in 215/55/17 size. I've already gone over 20000 kilometers on mine and I think they offer very good dry traction. They're not bad in the rain either.
I'd say these Michelins are "premium" all-seasons. They sell for $173 per tire on TireRack.
$800-900 total.

I meant used as in not "brand new". They are new tires, but used tires at the same time.
Even some of the stuff you see on Craig's List is new, but slightly used in one way or another. Therefor, the price shouldn't be what you can get at the factory, but slightly less.
They are your tires buddy, I just offered my two cents as if I were selling the same tires. Good luck!
