I currently drive a 2007 Tacoma 4x4 d-cab trd off-road pick-up.Love the truck but buying the gas is getting old.I like the look of the se camry. But have a few questions. 1 V6 or 4 this is going to be my daily driver (my other car is a 01 vette) how much difference in mileage is there? 2. I read on toyotas website the se has performance tires ,how are they in the snow? 3. how are camrys in general in the snow? 4. does the 4 cyl have enough power?not going racin or anything but I dont want to get run over! Thanks for any input

if you have any interest in performance, get the V6
if you care about your wallet, the 4cyl is fine .... they arent slow, they are up to par with every other 4cyl (always have been) -- theyre just not a good platform for mods, so buy one with that in mind

get the V6....the milage isnt too much different and the power is so good you really cant pass it up for an extra 1-2 mpg
the SE tires suck in the snow
camrys in general do well in the snow with the right tires....the VSC and TCS would be helpful add-ons tho
from an I4 guy, go for the I4. it saves more gas, most would argue and say its not a lot but it adds up, pricewise it is also cheaper. the acceleration is decent, you have an 01 vette which is quick enough. the stock tires on all the camry blows
Coming from a truck with a V8 i presume? Going to the 4 you'd notice a big drop off of power. With the 6, you may not notice it as much. Plus like a few have said there's only 2mpg difference so why not get the V6?
To the OP, mine's a V6, and i dont regret that i paid extra $$$$ for it. Because for extra $$$$, you get extra WHROOOOOOMM!!!!!!!! And an extra gear.
