My local Circuit City has the Avic-d3 radio/navigation system on sale for $299 until christmas, which im calculating as one hell of a deal, it was one of my first choices when i first started looking for an aftermarket radio. What i really want is the Avic-z2! My question is does anyone here have the d3 installed in their car? How does it look? What do you guys think about the d3?

You serious? It retails for $999. I paid that for mine a few months back, with install.

if you send me the money its not a problem. i'm gonna go back tomorrow and make sure they still have some left. lol. i'll report back. might just buy myself one tomorrow. depends on how i feel at the moment while in the store.
now watch and see if i dont go back tomorrow and they have changed the 2 to a 7. lol. if thats the case i'll say it said 299 the other day, then i'll get the "that was a mistake" bs. if it's still 299 i'll take a pic with my phone.
There's no way in HELL a Circuit City will have it for $299. I have access to wholesale prices on Pioneer and I can say that their price isn't even close to what vendors pay for the D3.

bad news. no more d3 for 299. i asked the guy there what happened to the 299 sale, and he told me they sold out of the ones for 299. whatever that meant. im assuming open box, or refurbished. the price is now back to 999.
