5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
hello im new on this forum im actually a former honda accord v6 owner and just bought the camry v6 se. i was kind of looking around and couldnt find too many parts for the car so i was wondering if you guys can help me out. i am looking to lower my car, and adding an exhaust for now. if you guys can help me find parts for those it'll be great
You can get TRD/Eibach springs (same spring diff names) it will lower it about 2" in the front and 1.4 in the rear....you could also get KSport Coil overs...there's a thread on them just do a search.
As far as the exhaust you can go full custom...or get the TRD axle back (i think i seen a thread on it also).
Use the search feature and you'll find pretty much everything you'll need to know.
TRD makes springs and an axleback exhuast for the gen 6 camry....you should be able to get them from your local dealer or www.trdparts4u.com
K sport also realeased coilovers for the camry as stated above, but stick with TRD to stay within factory warrenty....just a helpful suggestion
good luck and welcome to TN raymond
2.5" piping... if you want stock look, go with magnaflow mufflers... if you want sporty, look at N1 style... don't forget a resonator... also TRD exhausts are extremely overpriced for just axlebacks so custom ftw!

listen to him. his exhuast is custom and sounds simply badass....nice deep throaty sound
im still lost on the exhaust. so do i just go to a muffler shop and ask them to do that? lol seriously guys im at 0% knowledge on exhaust. i mean i can install an intake and stuff but im too used to my accord which they made full cat backs for so i have no idea. more info please! thanks
Welcome to TN.
There is an office thread for all Gen5&Gen6 owners to post pictures. Official Gen 5 & 6 Camry picture thread! (*** PICTURES ONLY, NO COMMENTS ***)
Go to this thread and view those cars with the mods they have done. Then you can pm the member with exactly what you want. Base on what you said I think you will find a member name Epsilon. His car will be very close to what you are looking for. After all, I think we all agreed on this forum that Epsilon's car is the best looking Camry on this forum. Take your time to browse, there are many mods done to many Camry's in that thread.
Have fun.
