We all know how much Motortrend sweats Honda's balls, but wow they actually gave all these cars a fair test and what do you know, the Ray comes out on top
What do you mean MT "can't pick a side"??? It seems like they were very clear with their pick. The Camry was rated #1 amongst the Accord, Malibu, and Altima.

Hopefully Toyota wakes up and reads this though. They really need to get their interior quality back to the way it was. Get rid of all these nasty platics and painted interiors.
Before they tested the new accord vs camry and the accord won, now they say because of the different roads the camry came on top. I dont get that you should test the cars on all surfaces before you prenounance one a winner.

on a side note... congrats to chevy's malibu for placing 2nd in this comparo. i think that's a pretty big accomplishment. the interior of the malibu does look nice with all it's small touches, and even with all the quasi-ricer blue led ambient lighting all over the car.

couldent agree more. congrats to chevy and GM for finally getting the midsize right...a well deserved and hard earned 2nd place
but i really enjoyed this article...very well written and truthful...proves my sentiment that the new accord is not at all anything special with its lack of advanced mechanicals, sporting handling and overall build quality, and not to mention its dowdy looks....
the camry SEV6 is spot on, the hands down best value and creates a class beating combination of the best of whats around.
GO CAMRY!
I saw a new Malibu that was on display at a local mall last week. While I would still pick my Camry over it, I can definitely see how GM will sell a lot of these.
For once, they actually have a competitive product. Usually they build cars that at best can compete with the previous generation in the segment, but they still sell because GM sells 'em cheap.
Now will be different. Besides, can you think of the "fleet vehicle" potential the Malibu has in hybrid form?

To me only the LTZ model stands out, just like the SE from toyota. I havent seen a middle entry on the road yet. But yea GM is moving in the right direction, i want to see what Ford has to offer.
