Welp, it was pretty much an accident, like champagne.
The wife ordered it for me from toyotapartsdirect.com (yep, she's awesome). When the first grille arrived it was the silver XLE grille. So, she called them with me listening (it was on speaker) and the guy said no problem, he'll send out the Titanium SE grille. The second grille arrives and sure enough, it's the SE grille, but it's Dark Gray. Eesh...still not the right one.
I decide rather than raise the little ladies blood pressure I'd see what it looked like. I take it out to the garage and hold it up to the car...it looks much better than I had anticipated. So, I go for the install then pace back and forth for a while staring at it. You know what, I really liked it! So I call the wife out and as soon as she sees it she's blown away. She loved the look of it.
I also figure since everyone under the sun has the silver Camry with the swapped silver SE grille I'd keep it and be a little different at the same time.
