from what I know plastikX is the best bet, BUT you have to WET sand the plastic first with a VERY FINE sandpaper, the results are amazing. I did this to my friends headlights on his passat, works wonders. Also, to keep them in good shape wax them with plastikX often.
use 2000+ grit or higher sandpaper, it barely seems like its sandpaper more like a brown paper bag, very very fine. you can start with 2000 grit and finish with 2500 grit. Sand only in one direction, no circles it makes swirls. Get a sponge and keep wetting the area you are working on, you can only do damage if it gets dry. I suggest (depending on how severe the plastic is faded) to do a little bit at a time, wet sand them, wipe them down, let them dry and then have a look what your working with. Be patient and work in stages. Sand until the haze has dissapeared (for the most part) then buff with the plastikX. This you can lather on with a soft cloth and swirl as you wish. The idea is you want to fill the small sandpaper lines with this plastic wax. If you have any doubts look up wet sanding automotive paint on the internet, its the exact same process. good luck and dont use anything less than 2000 grit sandpaper!
The PlastX will take off yellowing and oxidation but you'll need the wet sand method if the lenses are pitted at all. I haven't had to do it to my camry but I did to my Sentra and it came out really well. I use Eagle1 Nano wax on the headlights to protect them afterwords.
