How do gen5/6ers set their drivers seat?

So I was sitting / driving today and I decided to adjust my seat again. Well I noticed that different positions effect how I drive/focus. Normally I would have my seat low and somewhat reclined with a lot of leg room. Anyway I wanted to know how you guys adjust/set your seats.

I have mine the same as your old way. When I'm tired, I'll sit the back up straighter, push the steering wheel in and scoot the seat forwards a bit

I have my seat fairly close to the wheel and not reclined very much. I noticed that on my new Camry, I have sit closer because I can manipulate the clutch better.

I never change my position. I sit up (but not hugging the wheel) and close enough so I can get my foot comfortably to the pedal with slightly bent knee.

Gangsta Lean is not only pathetic, but dangerous.

I set it as far back as I can until my knee is barely bent.
Then it is set as high as it will go.
Then I set the lean back quite a bit. That is everyone tells me anyways.
It just feels better to have it leaning back some.
The tilt does not tilt enough for me.
I like the wheel in my lap like on my GM.

It's one thing to put the seat back (entire seat including bottom) but to lean way back so you are away from the wheel and at a poor angle to view the road in front of you is bad. Of course, being such a lurch it probably doesn't affect you like those of us with average human frames

http://www.car-seat-data.co.uk/ananlysis.htm

Figure A shows 80's large saloon (adapted from maker's own data). Figure B shows 1957 Wolseley 15/50 saloon to same scale for comparison. The lower roof line has forced seat to be angled back and lowered. Note increased flexion of cervico-dorsal region. In smaller saloons the height of the seat squab must be reduced further which will increase angle at knees.

I wouldn't call what I do a "gangsta lean", but I'm pretty reclined and pretty far back. In my case though, I have long arms and legs, so sitting closer and upright is just uncomfortable.

it's impossible for me to "gansta lean" i'm 6'4" and i'm not too skinny as an asian.

so i'm pretty much stuck with seat all the way back and the backrest about 60-50deg. (counting the horizontal as 0 and moving up to 90 as straight up.

this is an issue for me as well because im 6`2. i almost have to drive with my seat "gangster" for any type of comfort. but on long road trips i will tap the end the bottom seat up a little.

I have a very tall upper body and short legs....6 foot tall and 28 - 29 inch inseam. so, in order to even get in the car i have the seat all the way down in the rear, and I have to tilt it back a bit to keep my head off the roof (more so than I would like). But, to reach the pedals comfortably I have to have the seat about 1/3 of the way forward. No car really fits me :-(

I'm 5'9" with a 29.5" inseam. Do you look like a monkey with arms to your ankles?

Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously though, I can only imagine what it's like to buy clothing and stuff. I'm fortunate enough to be able to wear a suit off the rack.
