5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just installed my Nokya bulbs in my Foglights about 4 days ago. It was fairly easy and quick. If you have a ramp then it would be even easier. I tried to put my car up on ramps but the front bumper was touching just a little bit, so I just left it as is and squeezed in ( I have some old fashion steel ramps, I think most newer ramps don't have a clearance issue unless your vehicle is lowered.) All I did was remove 4 screws (4 each side) below the foglight (all were 10mm sized). Remove the 3 screws that hold on the "front fairings" (aerodynamic plastic trim in front of the wheel) and 1 screw just below the foglight that is on the Engine undercover. After those screws are removed then you will be able to pull back the Engine Undercover and have more than enough room to remove and install your bulbs. Then just repeat process on the other side.
* Please note that I am not a mechanic or technician. I am just an average auto enthusiast and I understand that there are a few different ways to do this procedure.
yeah you just remove the flaps at the bottom, bend them down a bit and then change the bulb. I did have a page of the manual for hte gen5 but im not sure where it is.
I think the OP might have been talking about the "actual" bulbs themselves......no?
thats possible, changing the lights are pretty easy, pop off the clip but pressing the clip thing and pulling it off, grab the bulb itself twist it and pull out. Replace in reverse order
i have 9005 jdm yellow nokya bulbs in my fogs
i love how they illuminate and how they look....but....
make sure theyre secured and wrapped to prevent moisture from getting in the bulb and socket,....this happened to me and shorted my foglight and melted the socket assembly, and i had to go to the junkyard, cut off a 9005 foglight harness off an avalon, cutb the old onw out and soldier the wires together...works fine now but i caution you....always protect electrical componets

yes they will....but you will need to do some minor modifications
9006 housings (oem camry fogs) have a single plastic tab inside the light that fits a groove on the harness to lock it into place....9005 harnesses have two smaller tabs that fit two smaller grooves on the housings....the key is to cut down the small two tabs and get the inside of the housing as flat as possible in order to make it fit....without the tabs its a perfect fit...just make sure everything is tight and well secured and well protected frpom the elements before reinstall and you're ready, set and go
