Rage Raven 17's

Thought I would share some pics of my car to everyone.

I had the wheels for about a month now, but I had a lot of balancing problems. So I've been running back and forth the tire shop and waiting for my replacement wheel to arrive. So finally now everything is nice and balanced. Also installed my FSB this morning.

Wheels are a little dirty from driving. Too cold in the northeast to be outside cleaning.

What do you think?

Not bad. They look almost like Toyota OEMs though?

Discount Tire Direct...at least their customer care department was very helpful.

Edit: Actually long story. When i first got them...I went to get them rebalanced and all four was off by at least 1.5 ounces...
Then two were still bad so I got them road forced balanced...
And they also sent me a new wheel+tire. One was balanced twice and was still vibrating.
Finally got the right combination that works.

I was actually thinking about putting my steels back on for winter because they can take a good beating. Dont want to do anything bad to my new wheels even though I'm a careful driver...

I was also told that wider tires means more chance of slipping and hydroplaning. Stocks are 205/65R15. These are 225/50R17 Falken 912's.

I just noticed that I'm getting bad gas mileage with the new rims. last checked it was 26mpg...maybe it's because I've been doing a lot of 70mph and stop and go
