In-cabin air filter

Hey fellow enthusiasts, My 06 LE Camry is in need of changing in-cabin air filter, can anybody point me in the right direction of where to buy an air filter, and instructions to install it? I have a general idea of where the filter is located (behind the glove compartment) but doesn't know how to get back there. Any helps are deeply appreciated!

there is a screw in the right side when you open the glove box, screw it out then just pull it down, you can buy the filter at a toyota dealership or any toyota part store online or even ebay,

There is also thred about this topic.

How much is everybody paying for their in cabin filters? How much of a price difference are between the stealership and buying it off the internet? Now, Im talking about the activated charcoal ones, because my sister is very allergic to pollens and other nasty stuff in the air.

To change out the 6 gen cabin filter. Look in your manual for directions. OR:

1- Pop out the 2 hinges off your glove compartment.
2- Now bend the sides outwards to slip the door off.
3- Slide out the filter / swap.

It literally takes 2 minutes to replace.

not that i like to nit pick, but the 2006 is a Gen 5.5 not a Gen 6 car. the location of the filter is about the same. :-)

Does anybody know where to buy a carbon filter for the gen 6? I've looked all over and no one seems to make one that I can find.
