07 Camry Dashboard Noise - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

We own a 07 Camry XLE V-6. Love the car, but not pleased with the overall fit and finish quality. We get a persistent rattling sound from the dash. The problem is that the noise comes and goes and is therefore hard to replicate for the service dept. Anybody else have problems with dash noises? It almost sounds like it's coming from the stereo and climate control area of the dash. The noise / rattle is like two styrofoam cups rubbing together.

Read this thread I posted several months ago. Toyota now has a TSB out for the dash rattles:

it happens to me too, and it is very annoying. What does that TSB cover? is it a recall? will it be for free?

It is not a recall; just a TSB. A TSB (which stands for Technical Service Bulletin) is a factory recommended repair procedure to fix a common problem. When the customer complains of a problem and the dealer can varify it, the TSB will then be applied to remedy the problem. The TSB procedure will be done for free under your 3 year 36,000 miles warranty.
