I know I am not the first one to do this mod or post pics, but a couple of people have PM'd me to post them, so here they are; my date on the camera is not set, so don't mind that.

do you mind telling us the other sizes you used for the other LEDs?

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what use could footwell lighting possibly have?
When you drive you never look at the pedals. And if it's for show-off, then you'd be illuminating a bunch of dirt or sand or salt, etc.
Kind of pointless...and I don't see the functional value of going to bluish LEDs to begin with.
Well, thats the same thing I said, until I dropped my phone or my wallet a couple of times and couldn't find it because the dome light is a P.O.S.
As far as the dirt, sand and salt, I just keep my car clean and there are no issues with that. But I can see where you are coming from if you live in a snowy environment. I went with the 'cool white' not blue, I just have a crappy camera.
The lights aren't only for show, but they really do help out. And for purpose reasons, they are no different than these;

Yes, they really do help out... plenty of times, have I dropped my cell phone, money and other things while driving
