Hey everyone a long time reader here, first time poster. I recently bought a Super White 2008 Camry LE I4 with tan interior. I live in Minneapolis, MN in the cold. I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to keep the interior clean, especially the rugs???
Buy floor mats from the part store to lay over, or in place of your factory mats.

Check the NTSB recall on floor mats and make sure the mats don't get shoved aginst the gas and send you out of control. Ya I have the same problem with my mats getting trashed and I can't find any mats that secure in the hooks.
i clean dirty spot with decreagser car cleaner..u can get from autozone....it works really good for spots on carpet that is dirty spot like color black grease..
get a empty glass sprayer and pull half decreaser in..and spray in dark spot and leave 1 mins..then take a clean to whip axcess off...
i live in winnipeg canada which is 7 hours(driving) away from minneapolis, i have an 07 white se camry and i use it all year. i bought these plastic carpet from hardware store that cost me about 10 dollars and i basically trimmed it and covered all the carpets. it took me about an hour to do cuz i wanted it to be perfect. we just had a snow storm and i don't regret putting it on cuz it works like a charm. i'll send some pics.
I bought a set of rubber mats from Costco and use them all year long. They are much easier to clean than carpet mats. I haven't noticed them interfering with the pedals although my clutch pedal has wore a notch into part of the mat.
i just have oem rubber all weathe rfloormats for my car....i replaced them for my stock mats for the winter and they do great...i also keep a rag in my car to wipe the dash now and again to keep dust down....beyond that, scotchguard spraying ur cloth and keeping a good coat of wax on ur paint is all i can reccomend and u should be good for winter
If you get takeout, put the food on the floor mats until you get home. Sometimes stuff can leak out of the bag onto your seats. No open drinks in my car period. Only the screw on cap style bottles, no coffee lids or anything like that.
