has anyone installed the oem toyota auto dimming mirror in their gen 5?
i just decided to buy one off of thapranksta because im sick of big ass trucks and vans blinding me....
however, when i was looking for install instyructions, i found nothing in both TIS and camrymanuals (just troubleshooting and programming....no isntallation )....im at my wits end as to where instructions for the install are...
can anyone help me locate some decent instructions? im out in the cold on this one...

youre telling me to search?
that was the fist thing i did
ive been here longer than you have and i did search and found nothing except people posting pics of the damn mirror....and some guy in the tacoma section posting pics of a bunch of wires
I installed a mirror in my wife's gen6. The mirror had 5 wires but only two were used. I think one was switched power and the other was ground. I didnt have any instructions either, I just did it on my own. This might sound stupid but I used some telephone cord I had laying around for my wiring. Its perfect cuz its flat and has the 2 wires you need. I just ran the cord across the headliner to the pillar and down to the fuse panel. Heres a link to my installed pics. Hybrid rear view mirror
