Gen6 Gen6 side-mirrors with turn signals

Somebody posted a link to this kit over at the CamryHybrid forum on GreenHybrid. I had not seen this kit discussed here at TN, and nothing turns up on a keyword search. At $219 (non-heated) for the kit, it costs less than a single Japanese turn-signal mirror housing. The installation manual doesn't look to hard, and the power cables tap directly into the existing turn signal power lines. Has anyone tried installing these turn-signal side mirrors? This might be a nice Christmas gift to myself.

Muth mirrors were discussed previously as a SEARCH showed:

Lol.

Just because something shows up as a result in a search doesn't mean it was "discussed previously." Muth mirrors was mentioned in 1 (one) post in that entire thread, and only in reference to a place where one could find a diagram to remove the door panel.

Maybe if you weren't always in such a rush to be a jerk and tell someone to search for something, you would've noticed that yourself.

On a lighter note, I like the japanese turn signals better than these.

lol, I searched for "mirror" and saw that thread, but when I read the first couple of posts in that thread I thought it was just about the Japanese mirrors! It doesn't look like anybody followed up on your post after all these months.

wasn't there a discussion about these being suited to right side driver mirror being concaved or something to that effect?

Ideally I want turn signal mirrors that are heated and fold in but that might be asking for too much?

Not feeling it either.

Might as well spend your hard-earned cash on these:

I read all the pages. Wake up yourself!!! Other than your 1 post about the mirrors and the other post referencing to the site for the door panel diagram, there is no "discussion" of the muth mirrors. Oh wait, I forgot that whenever the mighty njerald says something that is the end-all for discussions, so I guess in your mind it was discussed, but for the rest of us, most don't take style advice from a guy with a Lexus emblem on a Camry. My apologies. Poor baby.

How about you sticking search up your ass. Why does it bother you and lammy and a couple others so much? What is so wrong with starting a thread again? Or should we just read and re-read the search? JERK

WTF? When was I involved with these discussions?????
When was the last time I posted something like "Do a search before I help you? I usually help. I simply said try to do a search as it will also help.
I have no idea where you are coming from.
Please help me understand your point of view.
