5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I don't know y they keep comparing the Accord with Altimas and Camrys now... 08 Accord belongs in Full Size category... Have them compared to an Avalon and see if they'll win
If you read it does say that the Camry is the fastest out of the group... thumbs up
meh....the luster of new models wears off quickly....the driving astethics of the XLE suspension seemed to have a real effect on the comparo, and im sure an SE would have fared better....people wanting sport (not luxury) out of their midsize would choose the SE and not the XLE....
i put little/no stock in these comparisons....i just saw one surface on here in which the camry SE V6 was #1....

Well I bought the SE so that is that. The steering well I do feel like I am in a track car sometimes. However in the snow it felt real good not like I was on the edge or near out of control. So get over it unless at 20K the front end falls out from under the car. The power kicks butt and the looks are about as close to where I think the future should be,better than Honda and Nissan and Chevy which just ripped off the Camry look. I am happy so far.
Can't wait to see the angst some people will post because their beloved car came in last place.
I don't mind if my car comes in last. I'm just confused as to why they chose a trim that wasn't designed to fit their criteria. XLE = Smooth and cushy. If they wanted driving dynamics they should have tested the SE.

so they could say the camry handled inferiorly to the competition and not feel like they're lying through their teeth, cause you know how biased these reviewers are against toyota...
