Gen6 Road Noise

It seems of late (after 27 miles) the road noise seems to be increased inside the cabin, might be due to wear on the ties i suppose...

What are the best tires out there to reduce the amount of road noise? These stocks are wearing out on me...

Could anyone point me to some on www.tires.com or something?

Thanks,

BTW: these look very popular

Tires always get louder when the tread wears down. Try to select a tread pattern that is more designed for touring rather than high performance handling. If your priority is low noise than you can give up the performance side of it a bit. You will then also gain milage. Tirerack.com is a great source of info.

www.1010tires.com has reviews from users on allot of tires and they have poster ratings in numbers also 1-5 good site. I bought tires and rims from www.tires-n-parts.com great people to deal with I got the tires in three days.
www.tirerack.com a bit pricey but allot of people use them.

I think i might end up getting these early next year. The rating on them are pretty good. A lot of people say these are extremely quiet.

Yoko avid ftw! Except I've understeered with them before.

I have about 5800 mi on my tires(OEM's) & I noticed while driving in about an 1" of snow how noisy they were, sounded like I was driving on gravel. The Yoko's that CorCamrySe mentioned had some good reviews & are priced decently.
