Gen6 Eclipse avn2210 nav @custom intake mods pix

With Mortgage, car payments, sons tuition, etc. i really can't splurge on modifications for my 2007 Black Camry SE V6 but with patience sometimes good deals come along. Anyway, just got my Eclipse avn2210 nav unit installed. Got it during black friday sale at 50% off including installation. as you can see, it's not silver and flushed mounted like the OEM. I like the removable TOMTOM NAV because i can just take it with me and use it on any vehicle as a portable unit. Plus, it is very accurate. My intake i made myself from an Spectre kit i got at Pepboys and an R S Akimoto Filter I have lying around the garage. I'm not about to pay $300 for an K&N typhoon intake even if i have the money. With the intake, i felt a slight increase in HP and very good deep sound during WOT. Total of my Mods is under $500. Next mod will be TRD springs and Custom axle back exhaust.[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Actually that K&N intake is $200, but grats on the mods!

I find it quite hard to believe that you "felt" any HP increase. Air intakes are mostly useless as a standalone "upgrade".

If you add an intake, exhaust as well as ECU software upgrade then you might see HP differences that you will actually feel.

Your car is nice..I like the wheels and red calipers....That intake looks really cool (HP gains or not)you did a nice job on that.

That said, it sounds like you got a great deal on the eclipse but I have to say that is the ugliest head unit I have ever seen.

I really don't mean any disrespect but it looks very cheezy. Glad the function makes up for the look.

Sorry....Pretty car though..
