Hey guys. Im sure many of us V6 camry owners are trying to get our hands on a CAI. some ppl have got custom already, but i sent a email last month before thanksgiving, to fujita asking them when they are gonna come out with the cai for the v6, and they said by the end of this yr.. so far nothing yet..
just get a k&n filter and any properly sized CAI intake piping will do. in essence, the pipes are all similar if not the same. it's the filter and velocity stack that make the biggest difference.
you can even use the stock intake system with a k&n filter and will probably yield similar results if your intake will yield results to begin with. usually a bolt on intake system will give you almost no gain in power.
hey guys looking for a nice hp gain .. chk out the k and n typhoon intake .. model number .. 69-8611TS .. its a great intake .. and a friend of mine here at toyota motorsports is running this with a prototype of the trd exhuast for the v6 and its great so far dyno with the intake gave us an impressive 9.6hp and with the exhuast got a total of 16.3hp .. i must tell you this is a great intake and actually feel it .. like my boy epsilon on his hks set up ..that would be a great combo as well .. running those two .. but for real if you guys are looking for a bit of hp .. chk out the typhoon its a great intake .. just the name thats not as cool as trd or injen or ARC or one of these guys .. but in performance would rate it just below the ARC box .. and ARC is by far one of the best we have ever used.

i know what you mean... cuz i'm running intake and exhaust setup right now... and with the exhaust... it definitely helped my acceleration in the mid to high range
it would be great if its jux 2 weeks. and yeahh.. i would have gotten the sri but i really wanted a cai, i wanted something nice in the low rpm and it runs nicely with my hks carbon ti exhaust set up.

did you get it tuned or no? with proper tuning you could post some decent numbers instead of relying on the butt dyno.

I'm waiting to get a custom j-pipe made... maybe headers... before I get it tuned with an SAFC... it's winter time so my car is in winter mode and my funds have been depleted due to Christmas
this is just my opinion but i think the stock ram air design is better than any of the intakes out right now. Gonna wait till the spring to see if i can improve on its efficiency by deleting the resonators

I'm guessing you haven't seen the stock air filter yet... and I'm about 2 years ahead of you...
no all dealers can order them .. they are not exclusive to any dealer.. they show in our asg now .. just cant order them yet . we have like 2900 of the 4cyl and 3600 of the v6 exhuast coming on first shipment ..
