5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey,
Thanks guys I basically get the hang of what a car does now. I read somewhere that it sort of "breaths"; Starting with more gas and air at the right mixture, and ending with stickers, since stickers wont add or reduce much weight or performance no matter how many you have. Unless of course you were to have for some reason a heavy box of stickers in you trunk.
Now with all of my brain splining out of the way what would be a Nice air intake for my Camry 04 and also, an efficient exaust?
And why?
The twin turbo idea sounded excellent, but I think he may just be trying to kill me.
PS: I get so much tit
PSS: I get so much tit
Two more things: Will the check engine lights start raging if i were to install these parts properly or should I have no problem if it is done corectumly?
The boat is a little dinky thing my uncle whipped together and he could most definatly add the new parts to the car. Swimmy is about the weight of two large jetskies and one small snowmobile.
Im quite certain I've spelled eveything correctly. If i have not, please E-mail me as to not distupt important threads with postings of minor spelling corrections, or brassy grammer mistakes that will most certainly caus no huddle amidst the very easy to adduce, flagrant members of this forum
Thats a joke, they are going to huddle like patriots with game-winning grins on their faces.
Exaust?, Air Intake? ^
I could look it up for myself but it is usually good to have some first hand sources, that is of course if any of you guys have made any modifications such as these^ to your cars
just how much do two large jetskis and a snowmobile weigh?
i lose 6 hushpower for every really heavy box of stickers i put in my car.. but i get 3 more each for every NOS sticker i have

There is a large variety of exhaust that would work on your '04. There are many universal ones that would fit with just the right diameters. There would be some HKS and a few other brands. A quick Google search should pull up results.
Intake, ranging from K&N to Injen. Ebay and Google searches should pull up results too. Search TN as well.
Both of intake and exhaust would more or less add more noise then power. At most, you may gain 5-10hp.
The exhaust would not pull a CEL, the intake may pull a CEL depending on the type.

Depending on what you do with the exhaust you may get CEL. For example if you have a straight pipe with all the cats and O2 sensors removed.
The intake can also cause CEL if not designed correctly.
Go here: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/ and learn how an engine works. Then you will understand the breathing thing that I don't care, nor have time, to explain.
Your description of the weight of the boat is meaningless. I've never been on a jetski and the only time I've seen snow, I was in the SoCal desert, so I haven't even seen a snowmobile in real life. Yes, it snows in the desert from time to time. Your Camry has a towing capacity of 1000 lbs with a tongue weight of 100 lbs.
im beginning to think this guy is a genius. that post was abstractly profound. to me it represented a medaphor for social and economical diversities amungst art and mortality.

I hardly view this as an important thread... so I decided to point out the spelling mistakes.
I thought the boat was a real boat, not a dinky one, and take my advice... it's better to look things up yourself and then turn to us if you don't want to get flamed.
You're lucky your questions aren't specific enough or else people would tell you to use the search function.
And no need to email... we have what's called a PM (private message). Learn to use it.
