Don't forget the lab coats and beakers of bubbling liquid.

Thought I would let them do the first oil change and look it over. While I was there I was going to buy a case of filters and enough factory oil to break it in until I went to full synthetic, (10k or so).

I asked for 5W20 and the service guy told me they didn't have it, they used Kendall 5W30 on everything. I got my car back and sure enough they put 5W30 Kendall synthetic blend in it. 5W20 IN ON THE FU*KIN# OIL CAP..!! Thats a load of Horse Sh*t.... I read the factory manual, I know the spec is 0-20 or 5-20. AND IT'S ON THE OIL CAP!!
Anyway, I'm not really worried about it but I drove the 6 miles home and I'm gonna change it back to 5W20 conventional. Unless a TSB has been issued for something I pretty much stick by the factory specs. Especially while its under warranty!!! I would hate for someone to haggle me about my warranty because I was using the wrong oil. I know Toyota had an engine sludge problem a while back, so I'm sticking to to factory specs. Only other thing is that I change my oil closer to 3500 - 4000 instead of the factory 5k.
i work at the dealership,we have a chart that tells us what we can use and dont worry its ok to put the 5 30 in you motor
