^ what an a**hole! You always wanna check your tires or anything rather that your friends did. I do all the time..I trust them but it's about the craftmanship i tell them..

Well it took me a few months, but I got the Yokohama V4S tires installed a little over a week ago

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Model=AVID+V4S

EXCELLENT so far, but I know putting on a new tire is almost always going to provide a better driving experience, so I will post up again when I have about 5k on them or so with a follow-up.

For now, with about 200 or so miles on them, I like them a lot.

Compared to the OEM Bridgestone RE92's

Steering response is improved
they feel secure on the road
wet traction is better
they are very quite in all conditions

I will be curious to see if my fuel economy changes at all (hard to judge with warm weather setting in, that will have an affect as well)
