What type of air freshener are you talking about? It may evaporate faster than you think

I'd make it smell like sex. You could be creative on how to get the smell on the air filter. After a while, I don't think it would smell that great anymore though.

Maybe your air freshener idea would be better.

think of how often you change the cabin filter and think of how often the air freshner effectiveness wears off.

air freshners (even the JDM ones) last only a few weeks to a month - cabin filters need to be changed about once per year. it'll smell nice for the first bit then if you want to make it smell nice again u gotta crack open the glove box, unscrew it, reach in to remove it and do it all over again.

more hassle than benefit IMO.

it takes 2 secs to get to the filter.. u just have to drop the door and u can reach in and change it out.. but i guess to each his own..

It's not a bad idea at all, but I believe that any kind of spray-on freshener will disappear much faster then you're probably thinking.

I don't think that it's a bad idea. I'm just not fond of air freshener smells that much. I keep my car clean and it always smells fine.

If you like that stuff, I'm sure there is a way to make it work.
