Gen5 New Window Visors

Hey Everybody Whats up? Im replacing my stick on window visors with new ones that go into the window channel from weather tech. My concern is that taking the old window visors off will take off the old paint. any ideas on how to prevent this? also does anybody own these type of visors? I would like to know what you think off them thanks!!!

it wont take off the paint, if you want to make it easier warm up the glue with a heat gun and pull off the visor, or you can use floss and slice thru the glue.
Then take some goegone however its spelled to clean up the residue

Where did you buy your in-channel window visor. I was trying to look for one. I dont like like ones that stick out. Thanks if you have pictures of your car with it. That will be great.

I got mine at weathertech.com for $115. that was with shipping. I dont have any pics of mine but on the website they'll show you pics of it. if you buy them go with the darker set of visors. looks better than the light ones. good luck. I cant wait to take these horrible visors off. peace!!!

My experience with the weathertechs was horrible.I broke one putting it on(they sent me a replacement)& broke another taking it out. They do not seal well when the windows is up all the way so it lets alot of wind noise in the vehicle & I noticed more wind noise with the 6gen to begin with than the 5th gen. I had b4.

It was the same way with my friend who got those for his car, but he has an accord coupe. Broke it and all that stuff you said.
