yyyuupp! Im driving an 07 Camry, got it last Dec. 31 and I've already racked up almost 30k soooo much driving...BUT at least its ALL highway..well of course not ALL but majority...so the question is, assuming that its all highway, what is your opinion about taking it to get the "Regional Service" is it necessary? should I wait or just take it in? $500 is a lot

wow 30k on a car in a year is alot....i have 54k on my 03
a 30k service should be simple. oil/filter change, air filter change, cabin air fliter change, oil and fuel additives, tire rotation, brake inspection, top off all fluids.
iom sure if you change oil and oil filter, air/cabin air filter and rotate your tires you should be good...you sound as if youre a caring owner as you use royaal purple synthetic, which is a great oil and therefore the additives really arent necessary. im a mobil 1 fully synthetic many myself but RP is some good oil too, as is AMSoil.
your car is not due for a coolant flush till 100k due to the use of "pink" super long life toyota coolant....and tranny flush isnt due till 60k i beleive due to tue use of toyota type T-IV trans fluid....
yea i want the best for my babie as does everyone i believe but yea, the "Regional Service" says that they will do all the inspections and changing the oil/filter and cabin and they also mentioned that their going to do a transmission flush and power steering beats me BUT ill take your word for it

It is very important to clean the throttle body every 30,000 miles.
Besides that I recommend the following:
Tire rotation (balance also if worn irregularly)
Inspect tires for abnormal alignment wear and align if needed
Oil and filter change
Cabin air filter inspection/replacement
Engine air filter inspection/replacement
A/C refresher service - clean the A/C evaporator
Inspect all fluids and service as needed
Brake system inspection
Overall vehicle inspection
hey i was wondering, so many questions, i know, so if its important to change the oil/filter every 5k, and the synthetic oils can last more than 10k, couldnt i just change the filter every 5k and change my oil every other 5k?
