Angry wtf is wrong with my headlight?

my driver's side headlight is out, both high and low beams.

it's not the bulbs and it's not the fuses. anyone know what it could be?

Hmmm, What year is your car? Perhaps they share the same ground. Have you done anykind of modding to your lights?

^^ Correct

Assuming you have a GEN5 from previous posts from you. The High and Low beam DO share a ground. Nor do they share a fuse. How do you know the bulbs are good? Have you switched them with the passenger side?

Yep, switch over the bulbs to see if the bulbs are bad... check the connectors to make sure they're not fried... and check the wires to make sure there's no discontinuities

bad relay?
check bulbs with pass side?
bad connectors?
bad harness?
the headlights on a gen 5 have a pigtail harness going to each set of headlights, and you could have some sort of disconnect with that or there could be an issue with the harness itself or the connectors for the high/low beams (doubtful since there are different connectors)

wtf does any of that have to do with a headlight other than the gen?

anyways, 03 no modding. If it were the connectors or the harness it wouldn't make sense that both hi & low went out at the same time. The relay seems to be the most likely thing. i'll give that a try and if it doesn't work i guess its off to the garage.

I'm pretty sure he was making that as a general statement, not specific to your issue.

wow what a brilliant observation!

that wasn't the point. the point was that he chose to make this "general statement" in a thread where the context was irrelevant.

ok, I lied, they DO share a ground. Check the ground wire on the left fender. Should be attached to the left inner apron assembly.

The ground is (EC)
