So guys Im about to get my 07 camry tinted, and i want to try and keep it legal so i dont have too many problems with the law. What are some good combinations to keep it looking clean? I dont want super dark and then 25-30 on the front, to me that looks pretty stupid. What have you California guys done? Someone told me 15 in the back 25 in front doesnt look too bad?

Obviously, this topic is very subjective, but I prefer the same percent all around.
I got 35% all around (5 windows).
It looks very clean to me. Dark enough to make it look tinted and to keep a lot of sun/heat out...
I also have a Silver SE with black interior...so looking through the tint with a black background makes the 35% look even darker.
I have seen cars that try to do the gradual thing (lighter up front and darker in the back), and it just doesn't look gradual enough for me.
Depends on the area you live of course. I believe the most common tints are done with 35 front and 20 rear. It also depends on the color of the seats, black interior does improve the tint and makes it "appear" darker.
If I were to do it again, I'd go with 30 front and 15 rear. But then, I also just got a tint ticket, but it's a $20 fix-it ticket.

I'm in CA, I have 35% front, 15% rear tint (Lumar), with beige interior (bisque in Toyota-speak). You can pretty much do anything you want in the back (like limo dark - 5%), but legal in front should be 50% or lighter. Your choice...

If your Camry has a dark interior like my 05 se v6 (charcol leather) I recommend 20% all around. the dark interior makes the tint look darker than it is especially at night time. good luck.
If you want legal for California, you can't have any tint on the front side or windshield. No limits for the rear side or rear window. The limit for the front is actually 70% but thats what the factory glass is already.
I just got my black SE with black interior done on Saturday. I put 20% on the sides and 5% on the rear. I am not a fan of two different percentages on the sides but to each his own. Whatever you decide I am sure it will look great!!
I have 20% rear and 50% on the front. Under certain condition, they look the same so that may or may not be a good thing depending on what you like. I want a noticeably lighter shade on the front side windows because it would look more like I have nothing on the front.
Five percent is too dark for the rear window because I couldn't see out at night unless the other cars have their lights on so it's fairly difficult to backup in the dark. Twenty percent is fine for me at night, but some people still think it's too dark.

I did 7% in the rear window and back passenger windows. 25% in the front...
If you live in California, I highly recommend these guys on Rosemead Blvd, off the 10 freeway. They are the best, used them for 6 cars and all of my friends uses them.
I did the factory rear shade that rolls up and I am still looking into tint for front and sides who has 3M and can tell me about the metal tint. Oh and the roll up shade is $356 from the dealer OUCH!
