Sirius installation on 2008 SE

I just bought a 2008 Cam SE. I got the basic version with no nav or 6cd. What the best way to install serious. I want to go with something in dash. Is there an aftermarket headunit that will fit? Does the OEM stereo have a built in aux input? I have the Sirius Speedster from my old car, in case i just go that route.

There is a Sirius tuner that can be connected to the Camry's head unit. I know this exists for the upgraded JBL system, but I'm not sure if this will work with the stock radio. You can call your service department and get prices. Last year when I checked it was around $300.

As I am going through the same thing with my 2008 SE right now, I can tell you for sure there is NO options for the base radio to add Sirius directly. The only options are either to wire a Speedster / Sportster / Starmate into the AUX inputs in the center cubby or to use an FM modulator.

You're wrong, you can order it from the dealer. Here is another thread with all of the details:

That only works if you have the JBL or Nav radio. If you have the base single disc radio the only option you have is something that will plug into the factory AUX plus in the center cubby. There is NO way of making the BASE radio control a Satelite tuner of any kind, it simply does not have the hardware or software.

You're correct. I overlooked that part...
