Gen6 Gen 6 Supercharger-Questions not answers

Has anyone looked into the possibility of custom mounting a supercharger? I was bored tonight and started looking. All of the pulleys are on the left side of the engine compartment opposite the throttle body. There is practically no room on that side. I have the K&N SRI installed and noticed after removing ALL of the stock air inlets that there is plenty of room for a turbocharger but that would require alot of exhaust and engine modification. Does anyone have any ideas of where a supercharge or pulley extensions, rods, etc. could go?

The Australian Toyota Aurion has the TRD supercharger on the same engine, and I believe the engine bay is roughly the same size, so it is possible.

Just go with a custom turbo kit cuz there's no clue as to when the TRD supercharger will be available for us.

From what I've been reading it seems as though the 2GR isn't very boost happy with it's high compression ratio, although we haven't seen many boosted 2GR's anyways so who knows.

Gen6

Thanks, I am currently talking to a local shop about doing a custom turbo similar to the cobb tuning st35 camry. I don't know what the cost will be yet but I'm guessing around 4-5k.

That's awesome. Would like you mind sharing the specs with us on your custom turbo setup?
