5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Is Camry that appealing? Every time I pull up 2 the light I have BMW Driver turn theier head & Star. They always seem to want to race when the light turns green….I smile because I Know they paid twice as much or more but I still got them Looking …

Unless its an M, they don't want to mess with a Gen 6 V6. My friend and his 330cI learned the hard way at the track.

A lot of people have pulled up to me at traffic lights and asked what kind of car I was driving. It seems kind of strange that don't recognize a Toyota Camry!

Same here, especially when I had my rims on and with the car debadged.

I was one of those guys until this evening... I bought my wife a new 2008 Camry SE... We fell in love with the bodylines and just couldnt say no..
I swore I would never own a camry until I saw the new body style.. These cars look like a $50,000 Lexus, and turn heads like one too!
Cant wait to start adding some personal touches.. (Wheels, Tinted Windows, and possibly Invisibra)
and speaking of racing bmw's...i recently had encounters with 2 bimmers. one was a brand spanking new 328 coupe who was tearing down I-5, i saw him and decided to mess with his a little...i pulled on him slowly until 90-100 mph when i just smoked him..hahhaha after i did that twice in a row..he calmed down a little. then there was this 745i also had dealer plates...we were pretty much dead even until about 120 mph and then i pulled on him...prolly cuase he got scared...muahahha the v6 is so niceeeeeeeeeeeee

Going that fast on public roads..well, just plain stupid
That 745 would have eaten your lunch, especially at the top end. At 120, that car was barely breaking a sweat. He probably realized how ridiculous it was to be going those speeds on the highway and backed it down before he had to explain to a police officer that he was playing with a Camry
