Gen6 v7.1 Navigation Questions

Question:

I just purchased the v7.1 navigation disc for the 2007 Camry XLE V6.

Anyone know of the new override method of it?

What exactly are in this new version, other than no need to press OK on startup and new maps?

Anyone successfully used the v5.1 override files on the v7.1 disc?

Thanks

Why don't you tell us what is new in this version? It looks like you have used the old version for a long time.

I believe I read that someone tried to burn the v05.1 loading.kwi file UNSUCCESSFULLY with the v07.1 disc.

No idea, that is all I noticed.

Does the nav disc also improve other functionality such as voice command phone dialing, etc?

Does it change the display of MP3 song titles? The original MP3 player sucks.

It displays only one language. The iPod can display multi-language. The length of the title is too short. It does not allow you to jump to another song. This is inconvenient. Each MP3 disk can hold 150 songs.

I see. I have the nav so my display is different, it still displays only one language.

On thing really suck is the fact I can't do the override anymore. So while driving, I can't select through the MP3 directories...bummer.
