5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
There's this incredibly diverse marketplace called the INTERNET
Seriously though, do you want OEM chrome, or billet style or mesh?
I have been checking plenty on the internet but I thought I would check with you "experts" first. This is my first brand new car so I want to take care of it but not get hung out to dry.
I would like either the chrome or the mesh. Kind of depends on the price and/or how I think it's going to look.
ewww yuck...dont put chrome grill on ur camry..it looks hideous.....i dont like it when people put big chrome wheels with exhaust tips and chrome grill on a LE camry..it seorusly looks terrible GO for a more jdm looks..its alot more classy
well i wouldnt be so dramatic but on the new ones from pictures ive seen chrome isnt that pretty there styling looks more like black grilles are good i like mine now its black on the 2006 but i dont think chrome is ugly either its just not my choice anymore.... when i bought my car used it had LE everything with chrome trim around the wheels and i was afraid to tear that off.....it came off clean tho i painted the lights and grille and just recently the trunk piece to match the car last thing left is to get real rims but gettin hyperblack which is a weird name since it appears to be silver.... so all my chrome will be gone but i still think it looks ok but the grille on the 07-08's seem to make more sense when there black like the surround is color keyed but then black mesh i assume idk i dont se many gen 6's i dont like the one that looks like its all color keyed idk why just my opinion.

The ONLY part of the Camry I do not like is the grille and it was the first that had to go on mine... see pic below... dealer-installed for $450, but you can get it for a lot cheaper if you do it in steps - buy the parts off Ebay (~$280) and have a local shop install it for you (<$100)... or better yet install it yourself and save even more (I hear its not that difficult). Chrome mesh grille totally transforms your car, and I'll say to go for it... Check out lammydi's car site as well, he's got a sweet looking ride and has the very popular E&G grille

Like so many lacking their own direction and self esteem that come on here and ask if people on the internet will sohw them the way, the OP didn't ask for opinions. He asked for a source.
