Console Cup Holder 2007 Camry LE

Have any of you come up with a modification for the poor design of the cup holder? The insert continues to come loose. I would think that this particular piece would somehow snap in place. Quite often, when I remove a cup or mug from the holder, the entire insert comes out of place.

Thanks for your help!

Simple, yet effective. Although, the removable piece is nice for cleaning. I thought about adhesive backed Velcro to maintain the removable functionality.

My travel mug does it, and it isn't that large.

I've never had that problem. Mine seems to actually snap into place.

instead of glue, redo the velco with stronger velcro
