Gen6 Installed some fogs

I installed my fog lights today!! I had the euro kit from ebay, and i must say they look pretty nice. Not sure of the difference between the euro kit and the other kits. Im using the switch that came with the kit, it is two pieces, the actual push button, and the housing with the connector on the back. I am installing it in the cut-out by the driver side knee. Problem is, i took the friggin switch apart because i was going to slighly modify it and now i have lost the push button part. Does anyone, that also purchased that same kit have the switch, that they didn't use, and would like to hook me up with it??

Get the stock switch from your dealer or if you get lucky, from a junkyard. Will look much nicer/stock-looking.

im wasnt really into any of the switches at autozone. i would have to drill a hole in the insert piece if i went that way, and would also have to cut the plug off of the harness. i'll use that as my last resort. i'll post some pics later on today. its too cold out right now. oh, and for the install i didnt even have to remove the bumber like some of you guys say to.

Hmm, I was thinking of doing exactly the same with my 07 Camry LE.

What a coincidence you just posted this too

Can you give me the link to eBay auction which you bought those lights from?

The difference is that they probably got you to pay more money for the exact same thing by putting "Euro" in the description.....

actually that kit is slightly cheaper than the others on ebay. it does come with h8 bulbs instead of h11, and today while at the grocery store i saw another LE with fogs so i compared the two, and the bulb housing appears slightly different. i would say mine was more clear if that makes sense.

Seems odd, Stock fog lights have a glass lens, Do the Euro ones have a glass or plastic lens? Also the stock reflector in the foglamp has a frosted area on the sides I beleive, where as the Euro ones have a all smooth reflector, This may make it appear more clear with in reality it isnt. Also the H8 bulbs are probably not as bright as the H11

yes the lens is made of glass. and i dont think they are as bright as the h11's seeing as how they are only 35w bulbs. im not sure what made it more clear, i didnt stick around and look too long, but the other ones seemed to be a white-er color.

That was due to the frosting on the inner reflector on the sides.

ah. so the differences would be the lack of frosting and the h8 bulbs.
