so i bought this clarion head unit solely because cnet.com couldnt stop raving about its ipod integration. they said it was the best car audio solution for ipod integration with the easiest/best buttons layout blah blah etc etc. well i bought the head unit almost a year ago and just now got around to getting an ipod! lol. also the cord to connect it with ipod video was 50 bucks! ha. anyways they were right. this head unit was made for an ipod. its even got a dedicated ipod button on it. woo hoo! now i can listen to 20000 songs on shuffle. should last me a while..

Looks like the MAX675VD or newer MAX675VDII.

They run $534-549 delivered.

Steering wheel control kit is $54 delivered.

NAV add-on also available for another $520 delivered.

/\ yea thats what it is. video bypass was also 50 bucks. its a decent priced unit, but if you want all the cool accesories, which is why anyone would want it! its gonna cost ya. still havent got the navigation for it yet, but it looks sick. keep waiting for it to go down in price... doesnt look like its gonna happen...
