Gen6 retrofitters!! i need help! :(

hey guys,
i thought retrofitting would be easy, but i guess it aint. i got 2 projectors that came off the aurions (camry v6s') and yes they do got the bulb plugs to fit my ds2 bulbs into. the only thing is, i cant fit the projector into the bracket.

would it matter if i dont use the bracket and just drill from the projector thingy into the headlight?
also when removing the headlight, whats better baking it in the over or heatgun? if baked, what temp do i use and how long?

are you saying that the holes don't line up or the projector is too big? just shave the bracket a little

And do you have any hook ups for aurion parts... like an S/C or anything that goes into the aurion? willing to ship to the states? let us know

Anything that goes into the Aurion? Or just the Aurion. Send the whole thing.

You cannot use the halogen shield, If thats what your doing. You need to custom make a braket that will not interfere with the HID projectors optics

A heatgun is better if you know how to use it because it allows you the luxury of not worrying about the rest of the butyl cooling off while you work on prying each part of the headlight apart. I've personally never used it though. I've just baked in the oven.

You can just drill directly into the original housing to make the new projector fit. Or you can just create a bracket with some metal to bolt onto the original housing and have holes for the new projector. Make sure it is aimed correctly, and yeah, the original halogen shield would be useless for the D2S bulbs.

when you upgrade, you're not getting only the projectors but an entirely different headlamp unit to accomodate the ballasts. And usually they are sealed to prevent back moisture getting into the D2 plugs. So the halogen projector and HID projector are two different animals.
