5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey guys. I am new to the forum. I had an '04 Camry LE a couple of years back but sold it after finding out the car had been wrecked severely, but, the title had somehow managed to not be a re-built title. Anyways, last night I took delivery of an '08 Camry SE. It's the 4-Cylinder. White with black interior. I was wanting to get a license plate frame that says "I Love My Camry" and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one at?
Just be careful, I bought one of the chrome TRD license plate frames, and it was fine throughout the summer/fall, however the salt during the winter has made the entire thing corrode.

Just move to San Diego, CA that will solve your corrode problem!
Note: you'll find other problems though. like higher standard of living, etc...

I have chrome trim also and up in snow country (total accumulation over 8') and no corrosion, and the roads are salted regularly here.
You should take it back and see what they can do for you, or just go to walmart and you can buy chrome spray paint.
I bought mine off eBay for $10 or so, it's just cheaply made. I believe TRD VVTi has the same issue with his, so I'm just going to replace it at some point in the spring. I have two plastic TRD frames that are just sitting in the garage.

haha, I've been to San Diego twice for vacation, it's a pretty nice place with some nice people. I don't care that much for living in a large city however.

you gave me an idea...my grampa passed away a year ago on the 14th. He's from Belgium and i'm going to find out his old license plate number and get it done on the Belgium plate and put it on my car.
I used to live in Univ. City. BTW: I will be ther the first week of February. Beer?
+1 Cost!!!
Beer when you are here! In fact, I might try to get a meet in San Diego that first week of Feb.
I'll buy you a beer for sure. I still owe LNGasman a beer for the squirrel cover so LNGasman, you can join us for a beer also!

Awesome, I'm hoping one of my relatives over there knows his plate number, cause a cousin has the car...going to email them and ask to do some investigating for me. If not i'll do his birth date, or passing away date.
