5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hi everyone! I've just picked up my new Camry last night and will be posting some pictures shortly. However, I have a quick question. Is the Camry suppose to come with some type of binder or folder for all the manuals, paperwork, etc? Mine are all loose flying around in my glovebox. My 325, my mom's TL and my fiance's 04 4runner all came with one for their cars.!? Is toyota getting cheesey or did my dealer forget to give me one. Thx!
Toyota is getting Cheesey. They've actually made it an option to have an "owner's portfolio". If it doesn't say on the window sticker that it comes with one, then you don't get one. I meant to get a car that did include the "owner's portfolio" but I wasn't paying enough attention I guess. I think my Husband may be able to get me one though.

I got a black leather DayPlanner-ish TOYOTA organizer with my car. I think it's a $30 or so option, but who's dumb enough to spend $$ on something like that as an accesory?
Another reason not to buy cars through dealers.

I doubt it. Most of the better dealers throw it in for free.
I did see it as an accesory at the parts department, though. I'm sure there are a few anal people around who need something like that.
Don't doubt it. Here is how you can tell. Since most people don't get to see the the invoice of a car check your window sticker it would be listed with the options with no price.
