Gen6 replaced V6 Transaxle Slipping

Hi,
I had my 6 speed transaxle in my 2007 Camry V6 replaced last summer.
Everything was fine until the other day when I got off the interstate.
Pulled away from the light, and the transaxle suddenly started slipping when I took off and when it shifted into gear.
Much worse than the flare I had with the first one.

Today, I backed out of my driveway, went to take off, and when I pushed on the gas, the engine just revved up and the transaxle slipped, than picked up speed.
Then when it shifted, it was slippy too.
As it warmed up, it got better and wasn't hardly noticeable.
Took it to my local Toyota dealer, and my service rep has me set up for an appointment with a Toyota engineer.

Funny thing is, the "Maintenance Required" light came on as I was driving on the interstate just before it did it.
I always thought that was basically a light that told you to get an oil change. So it must've been coincidence.

Anyway, just wanted to pass this along to see if this has happened to anybody else?

Damn, that's a blower. I haven't heard of anything like this myself yet. The slipping sounds like a problem other than the well-known flare. Hopefully they nail it down. Keep us posted.
BTW, the 'maintenance req'd' is just tripped via the odometer, so it's unrelated.

That's what I thought, but it's quite a coincidence though.

Mine hasn't ever slipped (unless you mean the flare) since the replacement last February, but the flare has been absolutely horrible this week since it's been so cold down here in GA. Usually, I'm able to baby it so that it can warm up a bit and while it will still flare, it's not as bad. Unfortunately, a couple days ago as I was leaving work I happened to hit all the green lights on the way out of work and when I got on the main road I had no choice but to speed up normally and it flared at least 1500RPM between 3rd and 4th. I've just got to find a way to be able to leave the car with the dealer again. The one that I would prefer to leave it with doesn't have loaner cars, so they say. I left it with a different dealer the last time to swap out the transmission, but they are really not convenient at all.
