5w-20 in the 2GR-FE?

I was reading a thread on the Lexus forum about using 5w-20 oil in the Camry 2GR-FE V6 based on TSB EG018-06 found in this link:

Is this true? Is it ok to use 5w-20 in the Camry V6?

From the majority of what I've read here, the V6 gets 5w30 and the I4 gets 0w-20 or 5w-20. I didn't realize the TSB was for the V6 until I saw it on the Lexus forum.

Hmm, the maintanence manual for the Camry V6 2GR-FE recommended the use of 5W-30, and I made the first oil change at 1,000 miles using 5W-30 synthetic. Anyone knows if a switch to 5W-20 will affect any performance or wear/tear with the car? My car has only 4.4k miles on it now, and I'm planning to change the oil again at 5k miles, and I want the best oil that would protect my car's engine the best possible way.

So, the TSB only recommend the 0W-20 for the 2AZ engines, and shouldn't be used for the GR's at all? Heard some buddies of mine who owned the I4 Camry's having hard time looking for places that sells the 0W-20, and I was told the O'Reilly guy thought he was crazy when he went in the store looking for 0W-20, and laughed at him, till he had to bring the owner's manual to show that dude and make him look like an ass.

You can easily find dino 5w-20, but only synthetic 0w-20.
