Gen6 Off Topic-kits and laminex

1. I know this is pretty much just base on your own preferences but I just want to hear the majority vote, which one is better? The Razzi kit or the RK Sport? I hear that the RKS has more of an "aggressive" look to it but I dont really see it, the only thing I could really notice is the rear bumper that is different and with the front bumper, RKS doesnt go "all the way", meaning it doesnt cover the fog lights area as the Razzi kit does. Also, what is the difference in material? urethane, abs plastic, and fiberglass?

2. Has anyone used laminex? (However you spell it) I'm sure a lot of people have, and where could I get some, other than eBay. A friend of mine had got some and was complaining that it was very complicated to put on or the measurement wasnt right or something, feedbacks? I would like to get some for my headlights (of course), fog lights, and perhaps tail lights? I'm guessing its expensive too right? How about that "clear body bar" or whatever, opinions. I dont like it how you can notice it, especially if your car is black, mine is.

3. Has/Does anybody know/installed a good looking, quality seat cover? For the whole interior, front and back seats. Racing look preferred.

...Sorry for the long questions, but I thank you for your response.

#1, I personally like the naristo kit, but if i had to choose between the two if put down. I would choose the RKS. I think they have a slight differences in both. jux go for the one that is cheaper lol.

for number 2, didn't i tell you bout the laminex one? anyway i bought a pair from laminex and it was extremely difficult to point it on. I even tried it with 2 ppl to do it. It felt like the measurements wasn't right or it needed extremely professional ppl to do it. ( i doubt it) anyway. i wouldn't buy from them again. If you put any thing besides clear firm, it should decrease ur light output. I wouldn't recommend it anyway. I chose to do blackhousing and it looks more clean. blackhouse for FTW.

I also want to know about number 3. I have research about this one. You can get custom leather interior from http://roadwire.com/products.html strictly for our camrys. but im not sure about the seat covers.

I used lamine-x on my fogs and it was very easy to apply. Dont buy pre-cut material though. I purchased the bulk size which came in two sheets from a internet source. My friend bought pre-cut material for is IS and it didnt fit right, so just purchase bulk and cut it as you go.

did you use soapy water and a heat gun with your laminex? You're supposed to in order for you to shape it...

and go with RK sport... Razzi makes ur car look like it has lips asking for lipstick

Plus one for that. I have lamin-x for my headlights and taillights. Check out my cardomain page and you can see how its done. Bulk size always! Matter of fact, lamin-x has a consistency issue. They're dye on the bulk film is a truer color than the pre cut stuff.

I think the best way to buy the bulk film is call them. I just looked on the site and its kinda tricky to navigate. If you want to smoke your taillights there's two kinds, "smoked" and "charcoal". DO NOT GET THE CHARCOAL. For some reason the charcoal film likes to turn up on the edges. The smoked film is the best. And make sure that the film you get is a decent thickness
If the film is too thin, it will basically not flex and melt away. I'll let Netforcer tell you about that little adventure.

www.lamin-x.com

There's a tab at the top that says store. Click that and there's a link that says BULK Light Film. Check there if you want. Or you can call. and talk to someone there. Can't remember the name of the guys that work there. But they're all cool. DONT LET THEM TALK YOU INTO PRECUT FILM!!!!! If you mess up with the precut film then you're screwed cuz you won't have extra. Also, after you apply the film, take some wax,(car wax) and apply it lightly. Let it dry and then wipe off the residue. It will help protect the film a little more, just from impacts of stuffs
