Gen6 Rear View Mirror Rattles now

Just recently I had to have my front windshield replaced, since then my rear view mirror has been rattling. I have subwoofers in the trunk, so when I turn my bass up it rattles. I didnt have this problem before I had my windshield replaced. I had someone check to make sure it was tight enough, and it was. Does anyone have some good suggestions on fixing this problem? Is it something I can place around/on the mirror to keep it from vibrating? Please no smart azz remarks like...turn the radio off, unplug the subwoofers, turn the bass down etc....Thanks

Turn the music louder so you can't hear the rattle

if you grab it and wiggle it does it feel loose? and are you sure it's the mirror?

DIIIIng-Diiiiiing Sorry for the Raaaaattttttllllllliiiiinnnnnngggggg. {JK}

To find out what might work, try pushing tooth picks under the mount at the attachment point, not between the mount and front glass. Then try the small 4 inch tye-rap ends as a final fix, the black ones then will be a color match.

Hope this helps.....

Yeah I bet if I do turn it up more I wont really notice it, but I dont wanna go death. Its not loose. Im pretty sure its the mirror though. I even held the mirror when I had my music playing and it stopped rattling. I could deal with this better if it was rattling before, but this is very irrating....Im at the point where I wanna snatch my woofers out!

Holy crap, death by woofer? Oh, maybe you meant deaf

Mine rattles without the radio on, but honestly I can remember a car that I have owned where my aftermarket sub/amp set up didn't rattle the mirror. Have you tried a small square of Dynamat on the back of the mirror housing?
