HID kits are plug and play, its a 15 minute DIY job, the hardest part is to locate the best place to put the ballasts
15 minutes for installation of the HID kits is the easy part. The more time consume about an hour is cover up those squirrel spotters if you care enough not to blind other people on the road and/or get tickets from the cops.
So please CARE ENOUGH to cover those squirrel spotters. Do a search on "Glare still there..." for a DIY job on how to cover those squirrel spotters.

I just got some plug and play hids and they tend to flicker during what i think is the warming up phase. Is this normal?

No, I tend to notice it like 30 seconds after I start the car. It is hardly noticeable when it does occur tho.

no big deal aftermarket hid's tend to flicker from time to time even if you notice it its a small flicker , nothin to get worried about ,if they start goin crazy as to flicker for like 5 seconds or so then get worried lol
