Removing Ink from Cloth Upholstery

How can I get an ink (pen) mark out of the cloth upholstery of my 07 camry LE? Soap and water didn't work, and I am reluctant to use rubbing alcohol or hairspray, which you would use for clothing.

Any ideas?

You could try some club soda.

Remember to blot, not rub! The goal is keep it in one place.

Brake cleaner takes out nearly every stain that I've used it for.

I've even used it to get grease out of a silk shirt, with no damage to the shirt.

Well, whatever you choose. Make sure that you test it on the upholstery in an out of sight area

Really? So you just spray some brake cleaner on the cloth stain, wipe it with a towel, and then it's pretty much gone?

try using folex. It is a carpet cleaner but it works. I had a black grease stain on my seat and it removed it like nothing. You can purchase folex at home depot, lowes, walmart, stores like that.

Guys, take my word on this, I use this stuff, gets everything out without damaging your fabric; blood, oil, vomit, (I know from experience) trust me it works, its like 5 bux a bottle and it goes quick but damn does it let the stains have it, you can get it at Pepboys, Autozone....trust me, it will have your stuff looking new
