When was the GEN 6 Camry rolled out?

When did they start selling the Gen 6 Camry? It seems like the 06 Camry's (5.5) Gen were barely sold in the year 06. Anyone know?

I bought mine on March 17, 2006 -- the first day I saw any available on my local dealer's lot.

I bought mine 1st week in April '06 only because I had to wait a month for my Insurance company to total my truck.

He is obviously confused about the title of this thread and when his parents finally bought a Gen 6 (2007).
