ABS in my 03 Camry

I got stuck on my way home from class today. I got myself unstuck by rocking back and forth, and a shovel.

About half way through rocking back and forth I noticed my ABS and 'Brake' like came on.

I pulled my car into works bay, jacked it up and visually checked all my lines, and plugs. Everything is visually normal. I pulled the negative battery for about 10 minutes and I still have the two warning lights, as well as no ABS.

any one have any suggestions?

Also: could I cause harm by driving the car with this problem, whatever it may be?

Check the wires on the speed sensors at all 4 wheels. What were you stuck in?

I checked all fours wires, and all four clips, everything is visually good.

Snow. We just got 7 inches and the snow plow messed up my road, bad.

My brake fluid, and fuses(fusible link) are good.

ABS WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT (REMAINS ON)

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

If the ECU detects trouble, it lights the ABS warning light while at the same time prohibiting ABS control. At this time, the ECU records a DTC in memory.

Connect terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3 to make the ABS warning light blink and output the DTC.

I would try clearing the code again. If there isn't any damage to the componants it seems unlikely that being stuck actually caused a problem.

Getting stuck can duplicate running the vehicle on a lift. With the front wheels registering movement with the ABS and the rears not doing anything a fault could easily have been stored. When that occurs the ABS will be inop.

Try clearing the code again. If that doesn't work, get the code to see in which area of the ABS the problem is occuring.

Good luck.

2 Things

1: Disconnecting neg terminal should clear codes, right?

2: Where can I find what Tc and Cg are? I don't have section 5 of the TSRM, which I think contains the information I need. Also, where do I find the codes, once I manage to pull it?

DLC3 is my OBD2 port under the dash, right?

Never really figured out what the problem was.... today I was fighting my way through about a foot an a half of slush and nasty stuff and the light blinked off.

My ABS works great now, and everything is well.
