Gen6 Gen 6 Suspension Thread(coils, spring, strut bar, sway bar,....)

Just thought i'd put it out to all the gen6ers out there.
Here is what is available SO FAR for the GEN6 (07+) Camry in terms of suspension.

Lowering Springs:
(lowers car's center of gravity, improves handling and reduces body roll)
(makes your car look sportier and overall appearance is improved)
*Also note that it wears out the shocks faster*
1. TRD Springs. 1"F and 1.4"R (i4)

2. Eibach Springs. 1"F and 1.4"R
http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...14154400029489

3. H&R Springs 1.4"F and 1.3"R
http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguide.php?Mode=Application+Guide&SubMode=Find2& Year=2007&ModelID=430&q=2007%20|%20Toyota%20|%20Ca mry

4. VOGTLAND Springs 1.6"F and 1.6"R
http://vogtland-na.com/sportsprings.asp

5. Sprint Springs 1.8"F and 1.8"R
http://www.sprintspring.com/c-27-toyota.aspx

6. Pedders Australia Sports Ryder Coil Spring
http://www.pedders.com.au/catalogue
*note: select CAMRY 06+ because the gen6 was released and labeled as 06 over there.
** they share the same suspension as the Aurion

7. Tein S-Tech Springs for 04-06 Solara 2" drop all around
http://www.tein.com/price/toyota.html

8. ESPELIR active super down springs around 1.3-1.4" all around.
http://supergt.com.hk/shop/index.php?productID=292081
http://www.espelir.co.jp/toyota/t%20camry.html <-- check the 2 last rows, it's for the acv40 gen6

9. Tein S-Tech SKC52-AUB00 drop 1.6"/1.5"
http://www.tein.com/tech_info/c52.html

Coilovers:
(lowers car's center of gravity, improves handling and reduces body roll better than just lowering springs,
adjustable height and stiffness allow different levels of handling and comfort.)
(makes your car's overall appearance look better than stock, and will give you that slammed/dumped look)
*Replaces whole suspension unit (shocks and springs)*
1. KSport USA KONTROL PRO DAMPER SYSTEM
http://ksportusa.com/asp/coilovers_d...roduct_id=cd01

2. Megan Racing COILOVER DAMPER STREET SERIES

5.Tein Full Coilover Kit
http://www.tein.com/tech_info/c52.html

6. Buddy Club Racing Spec Coilovers
http://www.buddyclub.us/~OldSiteContents/
(Under products and select Racing Spec Damper)

Air Suspension:
(adjustable height, mostly for show, air ride control inside the car)
(makes your car's overall appearance look better than stock, and will give you that slammed/dumped look)
1. Air Runner
http://www.airrunner.co.jp/
* it is not in their site or product list in their site, but they do have it. i have a catalogue mailed from japan showing the gen 6 with air runners. around $4500 up last i checked.

2. Universal Air Suspension company
http://www.universalairsuspension.com/on-road/
* again, it is not listed in their site but i have spoken to them before. $2200
** i believe one member here, BostonBaller had these since last year.

Quick note: You do not need to worry about rubbing on stock wheels no matter which aftermarket suspension you choose to go for.

Where to purchase: Always check the manufacturer website for their authorized dealers
Evasivemotorsports.com
Amazon.com
eBay.com*

Camber Bolts
Tilts tires for improved handling and grip in corners.
Only recommended for those running wide/aggressive wheel and tire set ups

As more negative camber is dialed, the wheel tucks in behind the fender, reducing the chance of rubbing.
1. SPC Camber bolts
Gives additional + 1.75 degrees.

2. Ingalls Camber Bolt

3. H&R Triple C (up to + 3 degrees)
*Note that SPC makes Eibach's camber bolts for our cars as well.
Camry 2007-2011 uses 17mm for the front and 15mm bolt for the back

Strut Bars:
(reduces roll and understeer but not greatly)
1. Ebay Strut Bar

Strut Bar and Lower Arm Bar : : :
BEFORE :
Part of the shock of impact transfer to the chassis, causing wheel house and lower arm deforming.

AFTER :
Equip with the Ultra Racing's strut bar and lower arm bar, both side shock of impact will be neutralized.

< < < While entering at corner > > >

BEFORE :
The weight transfer and force gathering on one side, causing unstable handling and increasing body roll.

AFTER :
The force will spread out by Ultra Racing's strut bar and lower arm bar, stabilize the car and provide solid handling.

Side Lower Bar : : :

BEFORE :
On uneven / bumpy road, center section chassis will have different level of body flex cause by the weight transfer between front and rear.

AFTER :
Ultra Racing's side lower bar will stabilize the weight transfer between front and rear, it can also minimize the damage from side impact

Anti-Roll Bar : : :

BEFORE :
When turning in corner, the weight transfer will make the car sway a side, causing body roll and more difficult to turn in to a corner, weaken the steering respond.

AFTER :
The upgrade version of Ultra Racing's anti roll bar will be more effectively preventing the car sway a side at cornering, greatly reduce body roll and high stability in cornering

Thanks, nice summary and +3 on the posting. If we only would not loose the mfg warranty using other than TRD springs, I would mix match my spring set on my V6 (lower HR in the front and TRD spring in the back or so).

Thanks moky, greatly appreciate this. By any chance have you heard anything from shocks/strut companies?
It is nice to hear from the spring companies but it kind of sucks that we would be stuck with just the OEM strut unless if we go coilovers.
