That long piece on ext of door!? forgot what its called
Excuse the title but I forgot what the long exterior peice on the door is called. With all of the cars I see on here, they done have that piece but i have it on mine. Was this an option or were you able to ask for it without that piece? I have compared to all of the cars here(both I4 & V6) and on Toyotas website but dont see it on either. Did I get duped on this particular piece? Could someone enlighten on this "piece"?

BSM Body Side Molding. It does not come as standard.

Now that I compared to both with & w/out the bsm, I see my car not as appealing as the others w/out the bsm. I'm assuming if I try to take it off, it will have holes and the indention from it?
Btw Lammy, love those rims. whats the cost on those?

I'm confused here. Your first post said you don't have BSM. But this post you want to take the BSM off? So do you have it or not?
To answer your questions:
- BSM just have the 3M tape in the back so you can take them off without holes.
- I bought those GS rims from a member here name Eyekutr for $850. But he has it on sale now for $750 from a different thread in the classified forum.

i think what he is trying to say is that right now he doesnt have the BSM.
supposing he does get and install the BSM, his car might not look as appealing as camrys without BSM. thus, if he takes off his installed bsm, would it be leaving holes and indentation?
like what lammy said, the molding sticks to the side of the door by using 3M sticky or double-sided tape. it wont leave any holes.
oh okay! my bad. i just reread his original post. yeah, sometimes you might need to use some stain or goo remover to "erase" the residue of the double sided tape.
Sorry if I confused anyone but yes I do have BSM. I didnt' realize you could get the car without it. Since I can take it off, I will definitley try it this weekend. Thanks for the input fellas.

Moky, by chance do you know what would be the safest tool to use without scratchin the paint or a method of doing so? I have an idea to do it but wondering if there was a better method.
