Gen6 Camry vs. Tacoma

Got T-Boned... wasn't that fast, but dirty intersection cause my tail to spin out clockwise, hop up into the median. Amazingly the Camry had enough power in the front wheels to steer myself out of the opposite lane.

I am praying that the impact was slow enough that SRS system did not activate anywhere.

Still deciding if I want to go to the dealer (Mossy Toyota in San Diego) or take it to a different body shop. Anyone in San Diego county recommend a decent body shop?

Holy $h@t!!! At least you're ok afterward.
If the insurance is gonna paid for it, I would take it to the dealer.
Sorry for such bad thing happened to you.

hope you are doing well.
+1 on the insurance. if insurance is covering it, or if the person who hit you and his insurance is covering the repair, then i would take it to a dealer as well.

Glad you're alright. I strongly recommend using a Toyota-certified body shop. Any "dynamic" body part (doors, trunk and hood) is really a touchy thing and should be looked at by professionals. You don't wanna end up with new-looking doors which don't latch like before, right?

taking it to the dealer... well the tacoma had very little damage. The front bumper cover came off, and that's about it.

I was going maybe 25-30 and the taco was probably the same
